Tsunami Ride
Tsunami Ride-13th Feb
A sincere thank you to everyone who participated and supported in today's ride, it was a glorious day in stunning scenery made perfect by the fantastic support, good humor and personal contributions from people, in my mind it summed up the Stewartry wheelers and will be fondly remembered for a long time, I doubt if Jim will ever forget the great time he had.
Special thanks to Lisa, Steve, Liam and Sally for the excellent tea in Newton Stewart, Marcus and Janet for the best cake ever in Corsock (your power gels saved my brothers life!) , Jock, thanks for providing the van and the biggest thanks of all to Dougie for the support throughout.
The best part of all is that the money raised by you today will go towards supporting people getting their lives back together after the events on December 26th 2004
Same time, same place next year?

This, apart from its fund raising, was a terrific ride the weather was wild but the northerly wind made the air clear and the views spectacular. Often the wind was sideways, you got used to riding leant over!! Clatteringshaws Loch looked impressive, snow capped peaks and wild water followed by a fast run down to New Galloway.
Those who remember Gareth Montgomery will be pleased to know that he is back, looking fit on his new bike.
